They are Crêpe ginger.<br />It has beautiful, large, white blooms with a yellow centre.<br /> Its leaves and stems are velvety.<br /><br /><br />Cheilocostus speciosus.<br />cane-reed; crape ginger; Malay ginger; spiral flag; variegated ginger; wild ginger<br /><br /><br />The habitat where this species is found is roadside ditches and low-lying areas in tropical forests. Flowering starts after onset of the rainy season.
